The Project Manager is responsible for managing the cost, schedule and quality of assigned projects and ensuring they align with the company’s policies and procedures. The Project Manager would oversee an electrical construction project from the initial bid to final completion while increasing productivity and profitability as the project progresses. This position is a vital role between the customer and our field teams. Accomplishing these tasks is achieved by having a well-balanced amount of time spent in both the professional office setting and on the project site.

Primary Responsibilities:

Project Management

• Oversee the pre-construction process. Conduct project kickoff meetings with team involved.
• Work with project Foreman to lay out, plan, schedule, and engineer the work to create the highest value for the company. Ensure Foreman has thorough knowledge of all information to effectively manage job.
• Understand and manage the project’s contractual requirements.
• Maintain or exceed the profit margin for each job. Monitor project productivity and profitability, take corrective steps as needed.
• Negotiate material/equipment purchases and other cost quotations.
• Manage project’s labor force and personnel.
• Attend scheduled meetings relating to the project as needed.
• Oversee payment procedures and submit required paperwork on time (i.e., invoicing, RFI’s, change orders, close-out documentation, etc.).
• Complete monthly billings in a timely manner and ensure collections are received timely by customers.
• Complete post-mortem project meetings to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Implement all applicable safety programs and policies and ensure these are followed and practiced by team members.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Business Development

• Develop targeted customers by fostering a relationship that results in getting project opportunities.
• Participate in activities that align with the company’s growth plan.
• Establish and promote contacts with potential and/or past clients to obtain work.
• Pursue new markets for the company’s services and coordinate efforts with Division Manager.

Qualifications:

• Master License, Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Construction Management or 3-5 years related electrical project management experience (i.e., commercial/industrial/plan spec/design build/solar).

• Working knowledge of or ability to learn Accubid and Procore software programs.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.

The Tool/Equipment Repair Technician is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and performing preventative maintenance on tools, aerial work platforms, and construction equipment both in the shop and at jobsites. This position plays a critical role in ensuring equipment is safe, reliable, and ready for operation. The ideal candidate is self-driven and has experience servicing aerial access, construction, and material handling equipment, including hydraulic, electrical, diesel engine, and LP-powered systems. The candidate must meet company driver qualifications, be comfortable working at heights while performing equipment inspections and testing, and possess computer skills necessary for work order, inventory, and maintenance tracking systems.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain tools and equipment using technical manuals, schematics, manufacturer specifications, and established repair procedures.
• Perform annual maintenance inspections (AMIs), preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on aerial work platforms including electric, gas, and diesel-powered scissor lifts, vertical mast lifts, and boom lifts.
• Service and repair construction and material handling equipment, including telehandlers, forklifts, utility vehicles (UTVs), trenchers, cable plows, skid loaders, and excavators.
• Diagnose, repair, and maintain hydraulic, electrical, diesel engine, and LP-powered systems.
• Set up, test, and operate repaired equipment to verify proper function and performance.
• Safely operate aerial equipment at full working height to perform functional testing and verify repairs.
• Prepare repair estimates for service equipment.
• Load, unload, transport, and properly secure equipment for safe over-the-road transport.
• Operate company commercial vehicles and trailers in accordance with federal, state, and company regulations.
• Coordinate repairs and preventative maintenance with internal departments.
• Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories.
• Complete work orders and maintain accurate repair, inspection, and maintenance records.
• Review and approve invoices, parts purchases, and pricing to support equipment maintenance and repair activities.
• Ensure truck is fully stocked and conduct daily inspections to maintain service truck readiness.
• Perform welding tasks as required, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
• Actively support and promote safe work practices, including identifying and implementing safety improvements.
• Assist other shop team members as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical School training preferred with an emphasis in mechanics.
• Strong mechanical abilities.
• Must meet company driver qualifications, including requirements to operate commercial motor vehicles, successfully complete required road testing, and obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate. CDL preferred; ability to obtain a CDL in the future may be required based on business needs.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Proficiency with computer systems used for work orders, inventory tracking, scheduling, and communication.

Specialized Equipment Experience:

• Experience performing maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on aerial work platforms including scissor lifts, vertical mast lifts, and boom lifts.
• Experience servicing telehandlers, forklifts, utility vehicles (UTVs), trenchers, cable plows, skid loaders, and excavators.
• Strong working knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, diesel engine, and LP-powered equipment systems.
• Experience performing equipment inspections, functional testing, and equipment transport activities.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs regularly, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, reach, and climb throughout the workday while performing repair and maintenance tasks.
